Protection against tracking
This service is used to browse Twitter, but without going through Twitter: our server acts as an intermediary between your computer and Twitter.
This means that your computer never contacts Twitter directly, which protects you from tracking.
Interface
Nitter offers several themes to customise its interface. It is much lighter than Twitter and works without Javascript.
No need for a Twitter account! Say goodbye to popups, ads and targeted recommendations based on an analysis of your behaviour. Just read the tweets you want to read, without visual pollution.
RSS feed support
If you use an RSS feed reader, you can subscribe to your favourite accounts and follow every post they make.
RSS feeds also allow you to follow hashtags.
Browser extension
We recommend the LibRedirect extension to automatically redirect Twitter links to Nitter.
Don’t forget to configure our instance at nitter.lacontrevoie.fr in the extension’s options.
